Looking at a Angle Broom (used) as part of a purchase of a bobcat.

What other use's are there for one?

I know it will move some snow and clean off a driveway but can it detach my lawn?

Price is 1500

I use my angle broom to sweep the rocks out of my driveway in the spring after
winter plowing. Works very well. Need to set the brush height so the broom only slightly touches the grass. It does clean up the loose leaves and twigs that accumulate also.

I don't think it would work well for that purpose. If the broom rides too low, it will just flatten out the grass until it was slick and eventually tear it out, especially at higher rpms.
(mine only turns at 150 rpm and I keep it up high)

I watched a landscaping company clean up sand on a blacktop parking lot this week with a non rotating "broom". It didn't create the cloud of dust that is usually caused by the rotating "brush". As far as a rotating "brush", yes it will detatch your lawn quite nicely if the lawn isn't too wet.

Thanks, I can get either.
