Another 300CX capacity question

You might JUST be able to lift those pallets enough to slide them off the truck. And as keeney stated - once the pallet is on the ground - you might not be able to pick it back up again.

Just a word of caution with this manouver. I watched a couple of young guys try to unload a skid of landscape rocks off a flatbead with a SkidSteer. Somehow they lifted the load enough to pull off the truck, but the moment the forks cleared the truck the whole load overbalanced the SkidSteer onto just the front wheels. The load went crashing down, smashed the pallet and tumbled all over the ground. the SkidSteer, now without any weight on the front bounced back up onto only the rear wheels and almost went over backwards and then back down onto all fours, where it boucned around a bit more.

Fortunatley no one was hurt and the youngs guys thought it was great fun.

Too bad you did not get a video of that. i am glad no one got hurt. I know the scared feeling as sometimes I forget where I am on the property and I end up on a 25% grade slope and the pucker factor can become the pooping factor real quick:eek:

You need to add the weight of the forks into your equation. Good forks are going to be real heavy.
