May want to consider how much you are going to use a backhoe. Lot of fellows for hire in Perry County. Could get a nice tractor with all of your other attachments and hire out the back hoe work and probably come out ahead.
If you look at Kubota, I think you will find the pricing of the other dealer in Perry County will be more favorable then the "M" dealership.
BX23s is looking like the likely choice at this point, I just will need to come up with a down payment to get the financing I'm looking for.
You're probably right on being able to get most of my immediate needs done more cheaply by hiring out, but there's also something to be said for being able to accomplish what I want to accomplish on my own. I feel pretty confident I can get my money out of a backhoe on the property over the course of 5 years or so.
I've not been to the "M" dealership yet -- the current Kubota pricing I have is from Dotterer in Honey Grove.
