At least with your 'condensed' water.. lotsa the minerals stayed on the coils.. I'm sure the battery likes it rather than hard tap water from a well.. etc.

My father used to collect rain water and save it in gallon jugs, we used it to fill all our batteries.

The CNh addative also has the added benefit of an electrolysys addative, besides the anti cavitation.

You can get the cheap bottle and swizzle sticks right at the counter.

What antifreeze brand /type would you recomend I run in my NH tc45A? I plan on obtaining the CNH additives you recomend as well.

I like to use a fleet diesel AF, and i add the conditioners from NH. My dealer told me 'plain gree' AF plus the conditioner was fine.. but I opt for the slightly more expensive stuff for that warm fuzzy feeling.

Thanks. Another poster above said the cavitation was only a problem when running an engine with sleeves but I will run the conditioner regardless.

In addition to anti-cavitation addatives, the conditioner also helps prevent electrolysis.

Yep.. and it's cheap too.. only about 5$ down here in florida...
