My Sister in Law and her man live in Colorado. They run one of the first legal stores there. I've really enjoyed visiting them each year and catching up on this market's progress. The first couple years Kelim was very paranoid. He feared the Feds. He feared them having a change of heart and jumping state authority and confiscating their assets. Also none of the local banks (very large city) would open an account with him. They too considered the money "illegal". Now that too has relaxed. The big shift over the past year has been a swing to edibles. That is the majority of their market now. They have been inspected and audited a couple times. Their record keeping exceeds all requirements. They've never had a problem in that regard. Kelim reminds me so much of a Missouri Grain Farmer. When he talks, it's in terms of production, fertilization, lighting conditions, etc., etc. Just like a Grain Farmer talking about his upcoming crop season. Except Kelim is starting a new crop constantly. They have expanded to two locations now. I have learned a lot about the plant and what it takes to get maximum production and the different strains which produce a different "high". Very interesting to me. I wouldn't want their headaches or stress. They are very profitable now. And they deserve every penny of it. It's their entire life (no kids).
