I know this is an old post but.... I'm also looking for a small grapple that will fit on my LA504 loader on my B3200 Kubota. One of my options appears to be the WR Long OBG2-48. Is there anything that anyone can add to help me along?
Some old post never die, at least for a little while!
I've beat the heck out of my WR Long OBG2-48 and it's still sound, nothing broken yet
after two years. I've attached two pictures of my latest task which was to relocate
a boulder which has been sitting along side my driveway.
The first two photos shows the boulder after getting it out of it's hole.
The second photo shows the boulder after pushing and/or flipping it
down to it's final resting place (for the time being, anyway)! It was
too heavy to lift (I estimate it as a little over a ton).
I ended up getting the OBG2-48 and the hydraulic kit. I'm sure glad I didn't get anything bigger. Even with loaded tires, the B3200 is still light in the rear. Even empty, when I go down our long, steep driveway, it starts to lose traction in 2wd. Otherwise, it's a great grapple and I don't know how I've done without it.
Get some ballast on the back of that B3200 before something bad happens. A ballast box, heavy box blade or something to provide a counter-balance to the fulcrum effect of lifting that grapple.
