Again thanks for all your help, it's obvious you love these machines as much as I do. I'm surprised there isn't a bigger following of them, or am I not looking in the right place?
You're welcome.

This Thread is in the wrong Forum, It was started by a young boy in January of 2014, that probably didn't know there was a Toro/Wheelhorse Forum. But it shows up on searches and has had over 67,500 views in a tractor section of TBN.

I just checked the Toro/Wheelhorse Forum, the most viewed thread ended in 2012 and has 30,938 views, so we are doing OK here.

I have been trying all morning to upload a picture, is there a step I'm missing, I browse and find my pick and hit open but it just sits there? HELP lol

wow, upload files, didn't even think to hit that! well in all fairness to me it just looks like regular text and not a link! lol Well here is my collection though I want to line them up some day with my tractors. BTW, I made a cable for the right brake and it works well, unfortunately it only helps turn a little bit. :( There just has to be a way to make a 325D turn, but if there is I haven't figured it out, short of taking the 4wd off.

I checked the Steering Stop Bolt Adjustment that I posted in #206 and found there was no clearance and the cylinder outer ball joint is worn out. The inner ball joint is solid.

Adjusted the stop bolts, but with the slop in the ball joint, it didn't help much.

I just don't get it, the rear tires crank almost 90 degrees to the frame, slowing down the right tire should combine for a tight radius. I even engaged the 4wd to see if it would push the back end around. I just thought of one more thing when I mentioned the brakes, maybe the differential isn't working right and acting like positraction. hmmmm, I wonder what I would check there. is that a separate fluid?

Put it up on jackstands, rotate one wheel, the other side should rotate the opposite direction.

is that a separate fluid?
No.

Do you have a lever to engage 4WD? I have only seen one with that option and he wouldn't sell it.

Yes there is a lever to engage, I have yet to get it in a spot to say I really noticed it doing anything. I have lots of hills and places that I spun the front tires on my other ones, but haven't lost traction with this one yet. So yours is 4wd all the time?

They use an overrunning roller clutch. The 325D only works going forward, if a front wheel spins the clutch on the driveshaft engages the rear axle.

The 328D has a bidirectional clutch, so it works forward and reverse.

Wow, sounds like the 325d was kinda crappy design....i still like it but wish I had known more about it before I paid $2000
