Anyone leave their tractor out in the weather?

Not sure if I've posted to this one or not, but its fairly hard to burn down a yard full of equipment. Happens all the time to sheds full of equipment. Our stuff stays out side.

At my old house, I had a 12 x 12 x 28 portable shed for the tractor and attachments. The new owners wanted the shed and gave me a good price for it.

Tractor has been outside for the past 2 years here at the new house. I am hoping to build a barn for it next year. If not, I'll put back up another portable shed.

Its a shame you can't build an equipment shelter without government intervention on 30 acres you own. I could understand if you were in a residential area with restrictions to protect your property value and your neighbors,,but on 30 acres,,give me a break.

Are you kidding my wife doesn't even like leaving the 14' antique 2 section Drag Harrow outside and put it's under cover after she's through with it in the Spring and again in the Fall. She leaves nothing out. Right now she has 5 tractors, a Garden Tractor, a golf cart, a 110 gallon sprayer and a 2 row JD 51 planter in the 30x50' shed and everything else is in various sheds. You barely walk through the 30x50" equipment shed.

This one is 21 years old and this shot was taken last Fall I had just washed it while my wife and son were out busy on other tractors, it's always parked inside when not in use maybe that's why it looks like it does, original paint. Never understood why folks spend as much or more on a tractor than their house and leave the tractor outside.

Where can you not do that? We just had a 28' with overhang x 48' Hay Shed built 3 years ago and no permit.
