My Tellesfdal's came with the links with the pins as well as this style.

To use them you have to turn the link 90 degrees to get the "T" shape to fit between the links. To do so the binders on the sides must be very loose. I didn't even realize there was a difference between the two styles, just thought they were spares.

Mine did too, Al.. I used those ones first, but one of mine either came out somehow or broke, which is more likely. Anyway, I put the pinned ones in and haven't had any problems. The only drawback is that you need tools to take them off.

Tellesfdal says not to run the chains tight but I do. I'll keep an eye on the link.
