AR 15

   / AR 15 #101
Self manufactured via ffa trust. Titanium with formed freeze plugs. 5.56cal.

First one and never been around any other so not sure how it compares. It's supersonic so turns out to be quieter than a 22LR. Guys at local range said quietest they've ever heard. Would love to do a side by side comparison.

It fits my 22s and AR15

I would love to test if for you! I love suppressors, I just don't own one myself.

My opinion of AR's is they are a bit cumbersome I love shooting them but they take up some space...
I've traded or sold them after "playing" with them in different configurations/calibers etc...

I'm happy and feel just as secure with my 'mini 14's...and they take up a lot less space...

Personally, unless one is into the tactical side of things and super customizations etc...a mini 14 is hard to beat...

Worthless without pics! Here you can see how front sight sticks up in front of scope. U don't even see it. S&W sport.

The claw may get in the way unless you mount your scope on a riser.

I agree that on AR gas guns the fixed front sight isn't a problem mounting scopes. If you look at our M4s, they all have an optic mounted on an upper with a fixed front sight cast into the gas block.

But if we're talking AR lowers, how about something fun?

Eddie,

If you are not busy Saturday morning at 1000 we could meet at the Lock & Load range on the SW Loop and Karen can shoot my AR15. It's in 9mm but the size is roughly the same as the LE6920 or the M4. Mine is a slightly older model of the AR6951 that is only semi-auto.

SOCOM soldiers used to mount them that way.

Now they put the metal sight post 2/3rds down, so that if a target is holding a weapon it is not concealed by the sight post. YMMV.

I had a Colt Green label CAR that I paid $700 for and shot for a few years, and then a friend just had to have it and waved $1500 under my nose so I let him have it. That was during the ban, and It had that all important bayonet lug and all.
