well i like m1A's too. I have room in my heart for wood and plastic I think they all have their place.

I have many handguns in my collection, from 1850 to present and not a single plastic one.

These young whipper snappers that like them just simply don't know what they're missing.

Please don't label me as living in the past, as I have a couple scandium and titanium revolvers, so I'm hip, man. Groovy.

Oh and don't get me started on rubber grips vs wood grips.

It sounds like we have similar taste. The old metal and wood guns are so much better. I do have a plastic stock shotgun and a 6PPC with a very dense plastic stock. I was forced to buy a plastic grip 9M because the league I was shooting in didn't allow 1911's.

Do you have any with that evil ivory on it? Our state keeps trying to pass laws that would basically cause us to be a criminal for owning one.

Honestly, I can't remember. I know I have mother of pearl, fake ivory, and stag but I can't remember if I have real ivory. I don't think so.

It's getting bad when I can't even remember what I have. I"ll have to check with my wife to see if the grips on one of her's is real or phony ivory.

Ma is trying to ban any ivory as well.

Wow, that's one of the better looking AK furniture set I've seen. Romanian?

I thought about dressing my FN FAL up with wood furniture to look like the Hebrew Hammer but I opted for a M249 saw stock instead.

yeah, the AK is Romanian SAR-1 and the SKS is a rather rare Chinese 'paratrooper' model.

Now ye're speaking my dialect!! Wood, just like the Bible says a gun should have on it. Just got back from gun shop looking at these things. Oh well, I reckon I'll get one sooner or later, in the 5.56, which I was told will also shoot the .223s. I'd like to use it for coyote hunting. That is, if I ever get to coyote hunt.
