Are ATVs/UTVs overpriced?

Let me Google that for you:

(Sorry, couldn't resist.)
When I initially looked briefly at the Mules, they were all different sizes.

The setup you see here is over 30K. Not with Mary, she'd be extra.

The PSI on this machine is incredibly low. Its height and width is smaller than a UTV. Operator visibility is better as well. Yes it cost to much but we still needed a machine to use.
What is the width of your setup with the pods?

That lack of weight can work for you...or against you.

I wouldn't pull the harrow with the M1008 (although it certainly could), and the UTV couldn't deal with the dump trailer.View attachment 998362
You use the right tool for the right job. I have my tractor, diesel truck and SxS for specific reasons. I need my SXS as I suspect others do also.

They still have different sizes. however, the Mule Pro-MX releates to a specific model/size/engine displacement.

Our mule pro mx se has the 700cc engine and will run roughly 40-43mph down the road. Good enough for me. It's just for working around the property.

First ORV I have had with power steering. Amazing, been missing out for a long time

Our last 6x6 did not have power assist so I checked the aftermarket units to add to it that cost $800. Thought it would kill its stator anyway. Got rid of it but our BRP 6x6 it came standard and with a much larger stator. I'd now say a utv-atv with a large capacity stator is wise move.

What is the advantage of the 6x6 you have over a UTV? Width is the only thing I can see.
Even with just the tires, it should nearly float over soft ground, or on snow, then he has tracks. A lot of utv's seem to have too much ground pressure to follow even an 4 wheel atv on slippery or soft ground, or can't pack enough snow under the tires to drive in a few inches of wet snow without having to spin down though the snow which sometimes is just wet icy mud.... If you just have ungraded atv trails though the woods, like me, I have lots of off camber and soft areas that would give a utility utv troubles, especially with some snow on them...
Our hydro line guys tried to follow my atv trail, with their utv to get around a steep hill on the hydro easement, and they went sideways down the hill into a small tree and ended up cutting it down to get out...
