The design of the "art" in this picture looks like someone had been drinking all night, went outside and tried to write their name in the snow. Then they slapped their forehead and said, "Art!".

Did you notice that those pictures were taken from the Newspapers aerial kite? I guess their helicopter was tied up.

I like the sky view better. It is starting to grow on me. What would our world be if there weren't some wild guys out there doing their own thing? Way better use of his time than sitting home watching TV.

The kite photos is interesting. Kinda neat. Though putting an expensive camera up on kite that might come crashing down at any time makes me a wee bit nervous. The stone work looks really nice. I would like to have the "art" as walls around my place.

My best art needs a scanner, a slide table, or a print lab to show. And only one of these will help TBN viewing. But people can make donations so I can publish my art.....

Many members of my family are artists. My mom was into abstract art. She did some pretty wild, intense stuff with huge, deep personal meaning to her. I didn't care for most of it when I was young. I was more interested in my dad's WWII watercolors depicting action and jungle scenes. But as I get older, I can appreciate what my mom was trying to express in her works. And now that she's gone, I cannot discuss it with her. So, yes, most of her work did not appeal to me. I would not hang most of it in my house. But I would never call it crap as it meant something very important to her. And that is what art is....

My Mom graduated this world soon be two years ago. Anything she had touched took on whole new value. Still not a big fan or her poems but more valuable by far. Used one of her cooking spoons this morning to stir grits and it is special still. I understand very much. kt

Add in the local newpaper last week by a Down Under... Artist Needs $18,000 dollars for a work of art in the local area... My pocket book is closed. Another story was about a guy who got a Masters in music and his student loans were about $175,000 dollars... He bailed to an overseas country and is not comming back to pay! Save your bacon grease... makes bread taste better!
