P.S. - if you aren't doing so already, try and use non-ethanol gas in your tractor.

Thats a big 10.4 . As of last year I've started using non ethonal gas in my machines. Costs a little bit more/gal. (about 35 cents) but should be cheap PM.

Very low cost PM ! Energy value of pure gas is higher than the E stuff, so the cost per/btu is good.

On pumps that share hoses with E, run at least a gallon into your car, b4 filling gas cans, to flush the pump out.

If you get desperate try looking for a new one. I tried to rebuild my Sears Generator's carb last year with the usual success. Then I started looking on the net using the make and model on the carb body. I found one for $35 on Amazon Prime of all places just like body parts for my truck, whod a thought?. Anyways, I stuck it on and never touched it, worked fine. Ethanol gas is the usual suspect. It just plugs small carbs while it seems fine in the larger ones.
