That Nissian is listed as a Runner, but that doesn't mean a driver... It's clearly been wrecked, but the damage looks to be cosmetic, maybe totaled over an airbag, but that can be cut out and run without.

I haven't seen any decent (meaning cheap) skid steer forks at the June/July/August equipment auctions; have seen JD hitch style; and also front-end loader forks, and I think on set of SSQA forks that holds for $800 or so last month.

I've been kinda on the look out for forks, a disc, and bushhog, if the deals are right, but zero rush. When I do add those, chances are, that will probably be market place finds.

I still have my eye on that twin arm log grapple. Less than 1/2 the price of new (about 40% of new price).
Everytime I’m all set to buy, something breaks and I have to spend money to fix….lol

So, the forks didn't go cheap enough, they probably were about rightish, but you can find new in the $750-1200 range. The Nissian Frontier I think someone got a good buy on, but at $2000, I didn't need it.

My wife used to go to auctions when the kids were babies! She'd buy the 1st box of junk they'd hold up (usually for a quarter) just to let the kids dig through it... good for an hour or so. Then she'd dumpster it on the way out. Occassionally there would be something good she'd keep. Brought home a 100' chrome clad Lufkin tape measure once... "This any good?" Ha! Love that woman!

So, yes, I am a cheap butt, 100%, as this stuff isn't how I make a living. I view actions as a step below FB Market, and bid accordingly. Atleast with FB Market, you can take your time and look over, research, ect, an item before you decide. Even on FB Market, I am typically a bottom feeder, looking for near scrap value stuff, that had a bit of life left (atleast to me), or can be repaired pretty easily (or repurposed). So, if I can find SSQA forks for maybe $650; I'm going to be below that price at an auction, After adding auction fees, buyers premium, Card fees, ect. Meaning, I'm watching for sub $250.

It's normally Weird stuff that is a good value; traffic control cabinets, specialized equipment, 3 phase welders, ect; or overly large stuff, like 944 class loaders, bigger than 330 track hoe's, ect.

For instance, there is a 3 point, pto driven reverse broom for a cat 1 or 2 tractor. That was probably an expensive item, but I would expect it to go cheaper than a 6 ft box blade, because it's an odd item, in low demand. Guys that need a broom tractor, like paving contractors, landscape supply yards, ect, want a hydralic driven, front mount, with pivot. Homeowners don't use broom tractors (unless yall do in snow country?)

This pipe wagon went cheap, and could have been really useful to someone with a bandsaw mill to move logs

Paul Harvey;
$200 for that junky MF 2-bottom plow is way high IMO.
Shoot I have my MF 2-bottom 14" slatted moldboard(rare) in the add section for $300, and it isn't all rusted up, it does have 3 different color paints on the working surfaces to prevent rust.

I have bought and sold stuff on CL and FBM, and most of the time there are no "deals" as prices are 20% or so less than new for what I wanted. For example, I converted the pin on bucket with a QA and added the third function. So was looking for forks and a lightweight grapple for my B21.

All the QA forks at auction or online were 550-750 range and the grapples $1500-3000 so ended up just buying them from Titan - delivered @ $650 forks and $1400 fork/grapple set up.

I was watching the auctions too for the above and a 60" QA bucket - but most of them were going for $450-500 range plus auction fees and 2-3 hours to pickup.
