Awful experience with dealer service

Give a call to corporate Kioti. Bet they would like to know how that dealership is treating possible Kioti customers. Here in the states, they have a customer hotline. I'm sure they have one for Canadain customers also. Might be a good idea to put a bug in their ear. Trac

lol no kidding. I hear Mahindra will descriminate and cancel dealers for just about anything. A report or two like that would be all it would take to get the dealership yanked.

I was looking for a new vehicle this April. Chrysler was advertising a Caravan for $19,999 - full page ad and also Ram 4x4 Quad Cab for $25,999. Although I prefer GM, thought I'd drop into one of the local dealers for a look. I wander around the showroom for a while and eventually someone actually notices - asks what I want and direct me to Sales Guy in his office. I ask about a brochure for the Van and can I see one. Nope they don't have any. OK - how about a brochure on the truck and see one. Nope they don't have one either plus he tell me I probably wouldn't want to buy one anyway, because they are pretty plain. Well don't they have PB, PS, PW, AIR etc. Sure but they're still pretty plain.

So he gets me the brochures and sits down on his chair. I take the brochures and by now wife has come into the showroom as well so we wander around looking at the $45K van they do have and the $55K Laramie. Nobody else bothers us and Sales Guy sits in his office. We leave.

I go home and email the GM of the dealership telling my story and indicating why I will not be purchasing anything at his store.

So here is Chrysler spending literally hundreds of thousands for full page ads in national papers etc to get potential customers in the showroom and when one does walk in the dealership treats them like crap.

Ok Im confused by the GM thing then the reference to chrysler again but I know another reason why you dont want a caravan. hehehe. go ask the local..... scratch that, jut go visit some transmission repair places and watch what the majority of the vehicles are that are going in and out. Most minivans and for sure caravans have a very bad reputation on their transmissions. I saw it an talked to a shop owner and he says they keep him in business. My local junkyard is full of the older ones, many without a scratch.
Get a good rig and then take flowers back to that Chrysler dealer.:)

Little update. The dealer is part of a 4 dealership network. The Main one being 100 miles farther than the one close to me. So I wrote to the main site about my misadventure and got a reply by the vice-president of this network telling me that he and the owner/president are looking into the matter trying to find out who gave me this kind of answers and to prevent further similar situations. He even suggested that he would drive the 100 miles from his dealership to the one near me if I would prefer to deal with him directly.

Turns out I might get a slightly better deal since he's trying to make up with mister dontcareboutpoliteness's mistakes...

I'm on the south shore of Quebec City, so it's a little far from the Vaudreuil Cornwall region to shop for a tractor...

First of all im sorry you were treated that way, that is no way to conduct buisness. Im a MF dealer here in Tx and i have customers that come in everyday talking about how rude the JD, and bota dealers are around here. I hate that they get that kind of service but is good for me cuz it keeps putting customers in my store.

Funny you say that! That is the exact reason why I strayed away from MF and JD in my area and drove me to the 'bota. :confused2:

I am continually shocked by the state of customer service just pathetic

I can't help but think that the owner the one who risked everything to start the business and catered to each customer or go without dinner would hammer any salesperson who misstreated a customer

Rarely have I been treated like crap by an owner and when it did happen the place was gone in short order

Pay sales people crap five them no skin in the game and you get pissed customers

Salesmanship is a sport that the insincere and rude should not attempt. A salesman should also never be afraid of the figures he will sell at. If they are not willing to negotiate a deal they are a retailer not a salesman. You work very hard to put money in your pocket and their is nothing wrong with defending every penny you pull out. That money is your food and future security. The actual sale begins when the buyer says no.
