Price Check B2150 Price

A friend is looking to buy a 4WD B2150HSD with a FEL. I don't know the production year or the S/N to look it up. It has 2335 hrs. and the asking price is $8500.

The tractor appears to be in a fair to good condition. Take a look please. What do y'all think, good price?

They area asking a high price for what I see has some neglect although I'd like to see more. I'd say that a 6500 to 7000 number is a bit more realistic considering the broken grille and what ever else might be found. If the tractor had no apparent flaws I'd say it's about on line for a dealer price with some backing.

I always hate to see something for sale where the seller has not even taken the time to clean it up. A few minutes with a steam cleaner would make a lot of difference in the appearance.

From the company name on the loader I would guess the machine was used comercially and not very well cared for. If the owner has a crew that used it I doubt it has had an easy life. A company I worked for had a ditching machine that a crew used and they didn't bother to do basic things like checking the oil. Cost $10,000 to get the engine rebuilt and other things put back in shape because of abuse and neglect.

I think you could find a better maintained tractor for that kind of money.

Just my opinion, but I would walk away from that one.

Sometimes when you really want something badly, you tend to completely ignore the bad points, but I believe "we" have made him see that there are better deals ahead. Thanks again for your $02. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
