B2150 w/ cracked FEL bucket

I agree with the rest, welding to fix will be no big deal.

My Brother had a bad weld on his 3710 which he bought new about a year ago. The break occurred where the FEL bucket meets the right loader arm. If he had welded the break it would have been fine. As it turned out the dealer, the great fellas at Goss Tractor in Jasper GA, replaced the bucket under warranty. You should have no problems with the weld...it will probably be the strongest part of the bucket when they are done.

Stephen,For what it's worth,I sold our B2150/60" mid-mount/LA350 Loader/turf tires/600+ hours,for $13,500.This tractor had been garage-kept and had the best of care,sold in August of '99.I would'nt be affraid of the 2150 or a little crack in the bucket,they are a very steller tractor,that always had plenty of power for any task I ask from it.Best of luck to you,finding the perfect,low hour,well kept,compact can be a challenge.

First I have to say Happy New Year to everyone and family. Maybe now with the new year we can start to have an unseasonably warm rest of the winter with no more snow fall. Probably not but I do love that thought. Anyway I saw that you (Stephen) were interested in a B7500 and I have been watching this one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=533908664 (don't know how to show this as a workable link so just copy and paste in address bar). Heck maybe if you are like this one you will give us the location of the 2150 w/FEL & mower for I might be interested. Hope this is of interest!

I just sold (traded in actually) a B7500 with FEL and box blade for $11K with 30 hrs on it. I was told the dealer resold it for $12K. I tried to find someone interested in a good deal but no one was buying at the time. Those 30 hours cost me about $100/hr but I needed a bigger rig.

Sorry I didn't see your advertisement Larry, where did you advertize it ? Here ? Am I missing out on locations to search on the net ?

The eBay tractor is a used B7500*DT* + attachments bid to $10.4k but the auction reserve isn't met. I don't want a DT, but eBay tractor reserves are often so high that I could get a new tractor from Emerich or Carver at about the same price - sometimes lower !

I'd prefer to find a used unit from a guy like LarryT and avoid the $1000 dealer markup he speaks of (I know - they have to eat too), but most of the extensive used tractor ads are from dealers.

Well I contacted the owner of the B7500 and he told me that the reserve is $10,800. I am sharing that with you to help both of you out, like a middle man except nothing to gain. For you to know that if you went $400 more you would met it and for him I am advertising I guess. I have a feeling that this is going to be above that the way people have been bidding on it so I think you are right in a way and may find a better price with new through Carver or someone else.

Actually 10.8k would be a buy on that unit if I was seeking a DT, but somewhere around 11.5k it becomes a question. Thanks for the info.
