I recently got the same quote here. B2620 with LA364 FEL, 60 " MMM and loaded turfs..15,800.00 + tax. That's 6% here in the Free State by the way

Finally! A local dealer has a B2920 with FEL assembled and ready for me to take a look at. I'm going to try to get over there tomorrow. I'll be able to see it side-by-side with the B3030, so I can make some good size comparisons between the two. My camera is already in the truck, so I'll take a bunch of pics to post.

I also got another price quote last night on a B2920 with FEL and BH65, delivered, tax included, for $21,500. I had gotten some quotes a little higher, without tax, which adds another $1000. That latest quote was an email quote, without any face-to-face contact, so I think it should be 'negotiable'.

I'm waiting for that dealer to get me a quote on a B3030 TLB setup for comparison sake.

It seems that the piecemeal quotes I'm getting put the B2920 TLB anywhere from $2000-$2900 less than a B3030 TLB. I've been stressing about which machine to go with, mostly based on the price difference, with the state of the economy and all right now. But today, my wife said for that difference in price, I should get the B3030.

What a great wife. :)

Glad you are finally getting a chance to see one of these tractors, and try it out! We are anxious, of course, to hear what you think about it, and how you feel it compares with the B3030. Did they give you a breakdown on the price? I'm wondering what they added for the backhoe.

The dealer I'm going to tomorrow had the B2920 priced at $22,200 before tax & delivery - 15,900 for tractor/loader + 6,300 for BH65 without the thumb option. They're known for having some of the highest pricing around, but their service dept is well worth the extra money  - just ask LoneCowboy :D

No backhoe on either, but I have seen the BH75 in person. No one has a BH65 for me to see, so if I were to order it, it'd be sight unseen. But I need to see the 2 machines side-by-side so I can finally make my decision.

I was really beginning to think I would have to just get the 2920, but after my wife's comments today, I'm back to leaning heavily toward the 3030. But I will try to be as objective as possible in my review of the 2 machines, and come up with a list of pros & cons for each, and give my take on the nearly $3k price difference. Since all of those points are going to weigh heavily on my decision, I figure it should have some bearing on others folks decisions also.

What makes her even better is she says she'll stay single if something were to happen to me because no one could replace me in her and my daughter's eyes.

I don't know what I've done to pull the wool over their eyes like that, but I'm not complaining. :D I used to shower her with jewelry and stuff, but not for a number of years because I need the money for tractors and stuff. ;) I did let her decide on our house though - she wanted a more expensive nice house in move-in condition, and I wanted a cheaper fixer-upper so I could 'eventually' make it nice, so I guess that evens things out.

Sorry I bailed for a while. I've had my 2620 for going on three weeks now-I'm getting used to it, being a first timer, but I'm enjoying what it is doing for me. By far the Bush Hog has been the most powerfull implement. Currently going back and forth with the dealer about some mmm issues (I don't think they assembled it compentently-already dropped the connecting rod to the 3 pt because the cotter pin wasn't folded over and the height control handle dropped out the first time I turned it). Don't believe this is a Kubota issue, just someone not paying attention to detail.
I tried posting pics a couple of weeks ago, but they do not upload. I'll give it another try.
Reading this thread it looks like I paid average price for it and I'm definetly not disapointed. 12.2 hrs on 6 gal of diesel. 15.6 hrs to date.

Thanks Ductape_I just tried a pic again and it said upload of the file failed. The pics are not to large-I dont know why I cannot upload them. I'll give it a couple more tries then if I don't succeed I'll email them to you-thanks.

Msiewert-I have the Bush Hog SQ148 (4 footer). I went with the 2620 over the 2920, because I was told by the dealer that there probably wouldn't be much of a noticeable power difference between the two. So I saved the $1000. The dealer wasn't even planning on carrying the 2620 for this reason. He was just going to offer the 2320 or 2920.
