What is a good size box blade for the B tractors? I know its best to try and cover your rear tire track width. I saw one user here using a Land Pride
BB0548 on a B2920. While other users have used a BX size blade... on a B. My thoughts are to add the box blade to the price of the tractor up front. I dont want to hastily pick a box blade just so that I can order my tractor. I will use it rather extensivly to grade my lot so that i can build my garage...

I have a 4 ft with our 2320. May be able to use a 5 ft if just smoothing out light materials. If using the rippers in anything but very sandy conditions I think you'll lose traction because of the weight of the tractor.

May want to add what tires you have and what kind of dirt you'll be working in. A lot much more knowledgeable than me will chime in if given more details.

I have a B2630 with a 5ft box blade. The weight of the box is right at the max for the 3pt hitch and it provides a great counter balance for the FEL when do dirt work. I like that it is wider than my tractor tires too. I have only used it to spread loose dirt and scrape high spots.

The tires will be R4s. And the grading will be quite extensive. Sounds like a four foot blade would be the right size

I have R4's on my B7800 and pull a 5' BB. I put my lawn in recently, about 2 acres, and used it extensively. My tires aren't loaded so traction is an issue and 4wd is a must. I found the key is to make multiple light passes and don't try to do too much at once.

I have a Bush Hog brand 5' blade for a B2920. It weighs 490 lb. Probably similar to the BB25 Land Pride. As I do not have loaded tires, I use it as weight when I use the FEL. By using the top link to adjust the depth it is digging, I am usually ok with it, but it will occasionally stop me due to lack of traction. Mostly I use it on our 400' drive on the gravel.

Land Pride does have a BB15 series that is a bit lighter built and available in a 54" if you wanted something wider than your tracks.

I would also agree on the 54" box blade-seems like a good fit for the B2320.Great counterweight for FEL work.Good Luck!

I use a 4' with my BX2360 and the guys I know that use a B series either have a 4' or 5' box blade MAX. These things get terribly heavy when they start filling with material.

As the previous poster said they are EXCELLENT counterweight for FEL work.
