Anything is possible, however, it would depend upon what kind of soil you have and how much time you have. I have a lot of heavy clay at my place, and I tried digging with my LA402 on my 2910 when I got it this past September. It was a waste of time-as the teeth didn't arrive with the loader. I got the teeth about a week later, and installed them, and that was much better, but still not great on any dirt that was packed down, or had never been worked. On soil that had been removed for my basement, I had better luck. Between the loader(with teeth), and the rear blade, I moved many tons of dirt around and did the final grading, etc., around the house. The guys that dug my basement started out with a couple of big Case tractors, and wound up going back to the shop to get a Huge CAT. Between this heavy Missouri clay, and a shelf of limestone they hit at about 6', I would have destroyed my 2910/LA402 and grown old trying.
I really like my 2910, but like anything, it has its limitations.
