B3030 Hyds

I'm not a farmer but use my NAA frequently for anything that having acreage demands - front loader, rear scraper, mowing, and 3 point auger. I bought the 3030 primarily for snow blowing since it has the mid/front PTO and came with the blower attached. I'm in the process of changing out the blower for a front loader and can find no reference in the manuals for how to attach the four hyd hoses. The male hyd outlets on the tractor have dust caps colored as follows (facing the unit from the front facing aft): Top left Yellow, top right red, lower left white, and lower right blue - it would be logical to follow the color coding and I expect that is the correct route - am I OK so far?? The color coding on the blower hoses was not matched as above, but that's for another day. Also the controller stick has just four positions that raise/lower the blower and turn the chute right or left. What can I expect it to do for my front loader. Many thanks!!

My B 7800 loader manual said match colors from joy stick fittings to color coded hoses on loader hoses. Maybe small paint mark if its still there. Joy stick will control loader arms up & down , and bucket curle dump & scoop. Up & down are mornally lever down @ 6 O'clock (loader arms up) , lever up @ 12 o'clock (loader arms down) , lever left @ 9 o'clock (bucket curled/scooping load) , and lever right @ 3 o'clock (bucket dumping load out) . I that valve is a true loader valve. it should have some markings on the valve.

If it is a PB valve it will have 7 hoses.

HOSES

1 - P or IN for pressure

2 - T or TANK or OUT for return

3 - work port A or A1
4 - work port B or B1
5 - work port C or A2
6 - work port D or B2

7 - PB or PBY

Check for colored tape on the hoses and also there are colored marks on the fittings like they were done with a marker. If you have a loader manual, its in it.

If I had to make a bet - I would bet that Kubota's color scheme is pretty standard.

I have a B3200 (which is a very similar tractor to the B3030).

If it would help - I could trace out the lines on my loader setup and give you a color - FEL function list.

Dear all,
I bought the 3030 used (90 hrs) with the blower attached and it wasn't 'til I went to change out to the front loader that I noticed the color issue. I now have the loader attached and it works as expected (with all colors aligned). Although the snow blower is a Kubota item (B2781), the hose bayonet fittings all have the same colored dust caps as opposed to the loader which has colored caps to match the 4 male fittings on the 3030. Why the blower needs different color coding (four different colored plastic rings on the male and female fittings) is a mystery. Perhaps I can get a set of properly colored caps and fit them to the blower hoses so the next guy won't be scratching his head.

The only colors on male and female fittings are the dust caps and small plastic rings. The only thing the loader manual sez is (pg 26) "3. Connect the four hoses with couplers to the nipples on the control valve as indicated with color marks."

If you are going to connect a loader valve hyd to the FEL, then you need to know what each hose does and where it goes.

Sorry if I mislead or confused you.

Thanks JJ, So, what's the FEL? Front end loader? All I know is that the valve body (if that's what it's called) attached to the tractor has four male outlet fitting coded with different colored dust caps, and the hoses are coded the same way. The loader works justa fine as described by raptor749.

PB stands for power beyond. Lots of hyd valves have this port, and it is used to pass fluid downstream for the next valve.
