Kubota B3200 TLB
Hello all,

Looking for advise. I bent the adjustable bottom link of the right 3 point hitch. I was using my back blade and it bent the threads on the bottom right above the link. I checked with Kubota, the part number is 6c070-65240 and the price for just the bottom threaded link is $38.00??? I think that is a little ridiculous imo. Is there an aftermarket adjustable link that I could use to replace the Kubota part? Something a little more heavy duty? I can't believe that it bent with what I was doing. Anyways, looking for your guidance.

Tractor supply has this piece but not sure if it will fit. CountyLine® Acme Ratchet Jack - Tractor Supply Online Store

I realize that the above is more than the replacement piece but was wondering if it would be more heavy duty than the kubota part.

What do ya think? Thanks again for your help:)

I wouldn't use that. You need the ball ends so that it can flex side to side. Just go to TSC or other farm and ranch supply like Agri-supply and order a complete toplink with the same length as the one you have. I should be less than $20.

You may be able to go to a Cat II top link and use sleeve to downsize the pin hole. Just have to check to see if you have room between the pin and the attachment point on the tractor. That should give you a substantially stronger top link. If the clearance on the tractor is too small to pin the ball end to the tractor, you could even grind off some of the metal to thin it down without causing any weaker part than a Cat I and your threaded rods will be much larger.

Gary, I think that he is talking about the side link. :confused3:

itpdk9, one of the chances that you take by beefing up the failed part is, what breaks next? It could cost waaaaaaaay more money that what this repair bill is.

Just something to keep in mind. ;)

This product comes highly recommended. I've been in contact with Mark but I haven't ordered any yet as I haven't yet ordered my box blade!

Thank you all. It is not the top link it is the right side adjustable link. It is not the stabilizer but the one above that. In the picture in the link above it is on the right with the fork end. I went to tractor supply and found a similar one just have to match it up. The tractor is at my camp so I will check it this weekend. I was looking at the Picture of the one in the link above I think it will work but it is not angled like the one pictured. Thanks again. I need the forked ends as the ball joints won't work.

You need a set of Stabilwork's rigid stabilizers. (check chains) Not only will they reinforce the lower links but they make loading attachment into the lower link eyes easy.

Remeber, Kubotas are METRIC.

I looked at your link. As it is a clevis fit, top and bottom, perhaps it will work.

You need to adopt the habit of including pictures with your posts for clarity. All the correct three point terminology is in your owner's manual.

I appreciate your help Jeff would gladly have posted a picture but I don't have one and the tractor is an hour away. Will the stabilworks bars keep the same thing from happening again? I used the back blade a ton with my old tractor, ford 8n and I never had any issue. That is what upset me as this was my first time using it on the new Kubota. Thanks for your help

The Stabilwork's rigid stabilizers/check chains having nothing to do with the lifting rods.

They will reinforce lower links when operating in reverse. Kubota check chains 3.4 pounds, reinforcing one lower link at a time; Stabilwork's mech 14 pounds reinforcing both lower links 100% of the time. With Stabilworks I can carefully push LOOSE dirt in reverse with my rollover box blade, an activity that bent the factory check chains/turnbuckles.

There are frequent occasions when I am grateful for the Stabilworks mechs when shoving my King Kutter rotary cutter into the bush in reverse.

Check out Stabilworks video. This video convinced me to buy:

Still, prudence is called for. Our B series Kubota tractors are light compared to an 8N. As you have found out Kubota parts are expensive.

Note that Kubota "Grand L" series ($$) have rigid stabilizers standard.

itpdk9 - the Lift Arm Leveler that you show should work, but as Jeff mentions, be sure to measure up you Kubota part & compare it carefully to the TSC one. I suspect the Stabilworks stabilizers may help reduce compression bending of your Lift Arm Leveler by limiting the directions that your implement can move when you apply a load to it, especially when pushing a rear blade in reverse. Mark has an account here and may be able to offer some advice on that score. I have a set of his Stabilworks on our B5100 and they made changing implements much, much easier than those infernal turnbuckles, so I'd recommend them just for that.

thanks Jeff and Babygrand. I guess I bent it when I was pushing in reverse :) I will look into the stabilworks as like was said, they should help on the side to side movement when going in reverse which is i'm sure why it bent. I went ahead and ordered the kubota part, and I have definitely found out that Kubota parts are expensive, and they never have what you need in stock (at least at the 2 dealerships by me).

I will send Mark from stabilworks an email but any idea how much they are? thanks again guys.

I've bent the same one on my L3400. No idea as to when or how. But, with a 3 pound hammer, I "fixed" it in about 3 minutes.

It has been awhile.......but <$200 delivered.
Mark will offer you "light" and "heavy" steel options. You want "heavy".

You will be happy you have Mark's rigid stabilizers when you PUSH a bush hog into the jungle, another "bending" activity.

I've bent the same one on my B3200, and I know exactly how I did it. I was dragging logs out of the woods with the loader/thumb and backed into a tree stump with the end of the right lift arm (no implement attached). I distinctly remember accidentally pushing forward on the uppsie-downside leaver when I meant to disengage 4-wheel drive. I failed to raise the hitch back up on the spot, and BAM... Damage! Bent a 90° angle into the threaded part of the link nearest to the tractor. The damage to the threads was minimal, and I was able to hyper-extend the lift arm up against a tree and mostly straightened it back out. Been working fine for several months now.

[EDIT] I wonder if these particular parts aren't intentionally made of softer stuff - sort of like a shear pin. Otherwise, in my case, I might have much costlier damage to mounting points, or the lift arm. I hate to see the repair bill if I were to crack the back end of the tractor where the mounting pin goes through.

Sad but true: When Kubota turnbuckles eventually bend so you cannot repair them, there is no running to the hardware store for a generic replacement: they are metric.

Stabilworks rigid stabilizers are cheaper than replacing with Kubota parts.

Here's a side-by-side comparison of the Stabilworks to the turnbuckles for our B2320:

Here's a side-by-side comparison of the Stabilworks to the turnbuckles for our

On the Stabilworks product, I only see incremental adjustments (the pins). For some implements, I don't like to have any right & left slop, and this means tightening the threads on the lift arm stabilizer until the implemented is solidly locked in. Is this possible for the Stabilworks product? Looks like the adjustments are at least an inch apart, and this would translate to a fair amount of slop at the back end of a 4-5' implement.

I got mine from Mark a few weeks ago. Love them. The adjustment holes seem to be offset which allows for more adjustment than one might suppose. My old Kubota turnbuckles are hanging on a nail in the shop, where they belong.

Just like JEMelby's edit, I've wondered the same thing about the ability of the turnbuckles to bend when over stressed going backwards. Adjusting the turnbuckles are of no greater concern for me than the rest of hook up complications now that I have a Quick Hitch. I can see that operation in reverse could be hazardous to those parts and damage could be worse if the turnbuckle was more rigid.
