I was out bushogging today for a couple of hours and I noticed that as soon as I ran the throttle up to around 2200 RPMs that I could feel a steady vibration through my boot from the FWD HST pedal.

I put almost 900hrs on my B7510 and I never felt anything from the HST pedal.

Before I call my dealer I was wondering if anyone else has felt this HST pedal vibration starting at around 2200rpms?

I just went outside this morning to start-up my tractor to see if maybe because I was bushogging that maybe my cutter was causing the vibration.......it's not the cutter.

My tractor just seems to vibrate an awful lot....... the HST pedal, clutch pedal, and brake pedals all seem to vibrate, and the higher the rpm, the more the vibration.

Guess I will call my dealer and ask them to take a look at this.... I sure don't want to hear "This is just normal".....

If you do a search, you will find much discussion on this subject with both the B3030, and B7800. Since the B3200 is the same tractor / engine I expect that we will hear some discussion about them too.

I also have a B3200 with 11 hours and it vibrates like crazy, thru the pedals, steering wheel, and seat. It makes a high pitch squeal, going forward in any gear, but not in reverse. The backhoe makes all kind of squeals when I move the levers, its hard to control ,very jerky. Does anyone else have these problems? This is my second Kubota, the first was a BX24 and I loved it,then I got that bug,you know more power.

I have 9 hrs on mine and do notice vibration. It does not effect the opperation of the tractor but I notice the 3ph and top link are alway getting loose. I expect to need to tighten many bolts over the years with this machine. The only strange sound I get is when you let the loader down and it makes noise sounds like a relief valve letting hydro by pass or something.

I have a B3200 and rarely run it over 2000 rpm. There is some vibration at 2000 and it does increase some with more rpm but not enough to be a bother or concern to me. I had a B7800 for 3 years and I'm sure it vibrated some but again never a concern to me. The BX I own does run "smoother" than the B and at higher rpms..

Tommy,

As you can see I started this thread and continue to have the vibration issues you discussed. Unlike some of the others here, I mainly operate my tractor at PTO engine RPM and thats where the vibrations are most notable. I have not had any of the squeal issues.

Although it probably won't make much difference, I would suggest that you contact your dealer and make them aware of the vibration issues. My dealer knows about them, and even had a Kubota rep take a look and he saw/felt them as well.

Is/Has anything been done.......nope.....and I'm not holding my breath that anything will.......but Kubota I think needs to hear from those owners who have this issue.

I suspect that there maybe others, but for many this is there first tractor and don't have anything to compare it with... so they may figure that it's just the way it is.

I also just received my Customer Survey from Kubota the other day and was quite lengthy in pointing out my disapointment in the high level of vibrations that I experince when operating at PTO engine RPM.

I really like my B3200.........except when I have to Mow or Bushog....then it's just a numbing vibration in the seat, ROPS, pedals, the 3point hitch, and toplink.

Best of luck with your B3200.

Ditto on that comment - I really like mine as well - over 30 hrs on now and when mowing, my workaround is to find what I called "sweetspots" and am actually finding a few in the 2000 + range. Other day found another one where everything was so smooth - mower down, in M, and moving forward - it was ...sweet..sorry, couldn't think of another word.. ;-)

Still waiting for my customer survey to arrive and will document this situation as well. Yes agree this is important for owners to let Kubota know so that they can improve an already good product.

My dad has a 7800 and after a while of operation it has a "numbing" effect. Nothing so bad that I or he would stop using the machine. Usually if we change the RPM's the vibration changes and is not so bad. If the 3200 were out when I bought my 2920 I would have gone with the bigger machine even with the minor vibration issues.

Well I've had my B3200 for a little over a week now and today I finally had the chance to get more than 30 minutes of seat time. I too have major vibrations at PTO speeds. Its quite terrible if you ask me. I feel its unacceptable for a new machine. I can feel the vibrations literally through every aspect of the tractor. Now this is with nothing attached to the PTO and with a loader and rear blade.

I have a B3200 with about 10 hrs on it and it vibrates also at higher RPMs. I have read and read posts on TBN about this issue with the 4 cylinder Kubota engines. You would think that an equally opposed 4 cylinder engine would be smoother than a 3 cylinder...go figure. From what I have heard on TBN you just have to try to find the "sweet spot" where vibration is at a minimum and live with it. I would let your dealer know, though...I did.

I had a B3030 hstc i ran from 2005 to 2008, i never had any of these issues. I sold that machine to a member here at tbn and he has never had the vibration issues either?

You're right King, I don't feel any vibration in my 3030. I'd be interested in trying out one of these vibrating tractors to see if its just me thats numb (my wife says I am! :D). I sometimes wonder if a lifetime of driving trucks makes me not notice, where someone else who drives a Lexus back and forth to work, and works in an office, feels a tractor vibrate.

I would have to say that I have the vibration in my b3200 as well but because I have run some real ruff stuff over the years it does not bother me. I just run it at a comfortable rpm. Granted I would rather have it be smooth (much less bolt loosening).

Mine vibrates as well but I did a few things that seem to help a bit, especially the noise. I tightened all the bolts on the fenders and floor. It made them feel a little stringer as well. I tightened the screws on the plastic control lever guides, one of which had been stripped so not much I could do. The biggest noise maker is the top link clip when not in use. I ran a small bungee cord from the hole in the thin back guard to the clip. Mostly this helped with the noise but the one fender was actually a bit loose so this helped a bit with the vibration.

One other thing to try, clamp or bolt on some weight to the HST peddle. This will change it resonate frequency.

My B3200 is the same once over 2000 RPM it starts to vibrate and at PTO speed which I rarely use it really vibrates! I am going to ask the dealer about this when I get my 50 hr service done here soon. I have never owned a tractor before....but I have owned many machines w/ engines, bikes, ATV's, outboards, jeeps, trucks, cars........and I have never experienced this excessive vibration before in anything I've ever owned. I'm not complaining to bad yet but I can see the guy who uses the PTO all the time be a little frustrated :).
