B7100 Loader Question

   / B7100 Loader Question #11
Re: B7100 FEL - Cooling System & Fur

(1) Bird responded before I could, and his recommendation to use either standard automotive type antifreeze or the diesel antifreeze is as good as I could give.

(2) In my B7100 operator's manual I also noticed the advice to use the "Kubota Fur Inhibitor No. 20 to effectively wash away the built-up fur." I had no idea what "fur" was but it didn't sound good so I tried to purchase some of that Fur Inhibitor No. 20 from the local Kubota dealer. I think that they wondered what planet that I was from. Their advice regarding recommended antifreeze ended up being basically the same as (1) above.

(3) Sierra Antifreeze: I have heard that really bad things can happen to automobile engines when the environment friendly Sierra antifreeze is mixed with normal antifreeze. The problems occur when someone changes their antifreeze to Sierra and later on someone tops off the system with normal antifreeze.

B7100HST Loader
Mine has a LA300B Kubota detacable loader on it. It was purchased new with the tractor in 1993?? [ or somewhere about that time] and is compatible with a midmount mower.
