The reason I asked is that I have the same engine as orezok ... and if it happened on his, it could very well happen on mine ...

Just take a 10mm wrench and make sure the jamb nut it tight.

Would I attempt to rebuild the pump, heck no! This is just a simple adjustment for the max flow on the governor.
