well what do you know? If I don't log in I don't have the problem....so I guess I'll just do that and stop posting..that will probably make many happy anyway:laughing:

Still diagnosing. There was a line of code that we are 100% sure caused this. We removed the code, but the complication might be if some users still have a cookie from that provider which was causing some javascript conflicts.

Either way, there are additional steps we are taking...

In the mean time, if you haven't cleared cookies and logged out/logged in, please do so as that should correct it.

This should be fixed now as I just replaced all of the ad codes that were generating the 400 bad request errors (which was causing the back function to not work in some browsers).

If you have this problem again, on any page, please reply to this thread with the specific page you have the problem on.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks to all who reported the issue and helped us diagnose it.

In has been a week since I have been on. I had all the problems with hitting the back key and the 400 Server error. I have not had those issues during this sign on. Thanks! It was a pain having to click back multiple times.

I find that this problem is now recurring for me, on every forum page. Inserted into my history is one or more instances of "googleads.g.doubleclick.net."

I am very happy to report that I appear to have fixed the problem, at least in Internet Explorer.

From the "Tools" menu, select "Internet Options." Select the "Security" tab. Click on "Restricted Sites" and then on "sites." Add the following to the list of restricted sites: *.g.doubleclick.net
