Backhoe for Yanmar Ex 3200

i just bought a Yanmar EX3200 with loader at a great price, but it doesn't have the factory backhoe that I'm sure would be super handy. Dealer says $8,000 to get the factory Yanmar CB 75 backhoe, but I'm seeing 3 point options with a hydraulic thumb for under $3,000 on eBay.

Anybody have thoughts on the best way to get a backhoe on my new rig ?

I would recommend a sub-frame mounted back hoe for your tractor. Much more stable.

A couple of aftermarket BH's are Woods, Wallenstein among others. These have the subframe kit for your model and probably some other brands as well. I would also suggest the subframe mount for your tractor.

Maybe it would be worth the effort to shop some other dealers for the factory OEM BH...you may get a better price if a dealer has one he decides to unload.

How long does it take to attach or detach the BH when it's got a subframe type mount ?

To remove the BH, maybe five minutes or so. It always takes me longer to align and reattach, but overall pretty quick. Installing the 3 pt hitch takes me longer. I had a MF 2310 Scut with the 3 pt. folded behind the BH which was pretty nice, but back to your question removing the BH is not a big deal.
