Barb wire unroller

Thinking of making a barb wire unrolled for a 3 point hitch. Any one have any ideas? Pictures? Was thinking of taking some heavy square pipe and put 4 discs with 4 upright solid round stock.

Jeez, I just put a 3/4" pipe though my 3PH that was threaded through the roll(s) of wire. But I only had a few rolls to do.

I was putting two strands on top of field fencing so was able to do two rolls at once.

If one has to do it as a business then something more complex is warranted.

The local fence builders do as you suggested. Cross bar with at least 4 vertical pipes and old disc blades on the bottom for the rolls to spin on.

Here's a fence unroller I came across sometime ago. Would be fairly easy to make/adapt for barbwire if you have all the usual metal working tools. Another user had posted a pic of a fence unroller he made sometime ago that attached to the bucket (actually hung off one side of the bucket) on the front end loader. The only thing is you might need to figure some way to "brake" the spool so you could keep a little tension on the wire.

I ran a galvy pipe thru the 3-point arms and the roll of barbed wire in the center. I kept the roll centered with a short length of plastic pipe on each side - over the galvy pipe. Keep an eye on the barbed wire roll - some times the wire on the roll will overlap and bind.
