Scozz - sent you a PM

JimM - Thanks for the info on the AdvanTech. Swore I would never use OSB, instead of Plywood. Although this appears to be OSB on steroids. Lumber salesman talked me into it , and it appears to be as advertised. Stays flat and true, easier to install than plywood tongue & groove. So far impressed with the product. Also feel free to steal any of devices/ideas that may work for you. I have about one or two original ideas every decade and some of them even work!!!

Advantec is the only way to go. I had so much water and snow in my house you wouldnt believe it. We had one of the snowiest winters in the northeast when i started framing. I resorted to getting my snowblower up on the second floor rather than shoveling. Then we had one of the wettest springs. I had holes drilled in my subfloor to drain the water. I easily had 10+ inches of water from all the rain. Never had one piece buckle or warp.

All 80 sheets of advantec were carried by yours truly to the second floor. It sure would have been nice to see that boom pole with the 4x8 carrier a lot sooner. Also shlepped up all my I joists in the garage by hand.
