All the old dairy barns around here are giving up the ghost and falling by the wayside. Most of the replacements look so industrial, like a California mini-mal.
Your building has real class and craftsmanship, I would like to have that building with my window-view. (I would NOT want most outbuildings to share that view with.)
Congrats on a job exceptionally well done.

Way back when in this post I installed a 16' x 8" Beam to install a trolley and chain hoist on.

Here it is!

What size are your wood I beams and what kind of spacing are you using? I am slowely doing something like that, I have 16" X 24' beams and mine are 16" apart on a 31 pound per foot 16" tall H beam, pictures in my gallery. I know just what your going thru. Thanks
Jim:)

Time to close this one out I suppose. Don't see anymore progress , or dramatic pics coming. Barn is essentially finished. A little paint, some wiring, install a sink, etc. All dull work that really does not warrant pics. Possibly some pics when I get work benches, shelves in??

Thanks for all the kind comments , hope some have been helped in like endeavors by this post.
