Looking very good - like the color combination with black doors and brown siding.

I see what looks like board/foam insulation under the roofing metal? What is the plan for insulation walls etc.?
The siding is actually Bronze, has a hint of green in it. I wanted a dark forest/olive green, but they did not have a green that looked good to me so went with what I thought was the next best color.

The stuff under the roofing metal is Cougar Shield: Roofing Underlayment – Lapp Metals

It's used for condensation control. The ceiling will eventually be insulated with fiberglass batt before the drywall goes up in the living space, and the steel ceiling panels go up in the shop.

In my area the Amish work for a “guy” usually. When I had a major remodel done about 20 years ago I hired a “guy” who was the father of a coworker. He picked the Amish up everyday, took them into town for lunch and took them home. He didn’t just watch them work but worked also. I always felt the Amish kept the quality of the finish worker higher than if it was just the “guy” doing the work. I suppose this is area dependent.

In this case the "guy" was a mid thirties Amish guy. His crew was made up of younger Amish guys, some of them young kids. The drivers were just drivers who were gunts for lifting and cleaning up. And, there was not much cleanup, this crew was messy.

They did the job no one else wanted to do after two years of searching for a contractor, but the quality of work was not great.

One of the issues was the "guy" was only there a handful of times, bulk of the work was overseen by his second in command.

The crew that erected my shop in Oregon left about 10 lbs of screws and nails on the ground. I spent about four hours running around with a Harbor Freight floor magnet to try to get them all.

Same here, plus these Amish guys liked to throw stuff in a pile and burn it, plastic and all. And they did it in a different spot every time... So now I have areas in my lawn that are full of half burnt crap.

I added a piece of equipment to help me finish out my building:

It wasn't cheap, but I'm hoping it's insurance from falling off a ladder.

Wanted to make sure I got one with leveling cylinders. I kind of don't understand why they even make 4X4 all terrain lifts without them.

Got the under-slab plumbing and electric done today. Can't fully backfill until inspector has a look at the plumbing.

There is something about drain lines that I always find interesting.

I see two cans by the pipes, but I don't see any purple primer on your pipes. Are the pictures just dry fitted in the photo's and you used purple primer after you took them?
