Battey Tenders do they discharge during power outages?

I do not hate the chinese nor am I prejudiced.

I would like to point out the fact that it seems like they are shipping us a lot of substandard (dangerous even) toys, so if they do not care about our children, what makes you think they would care about our tractors (especially the south korean tractors)?

As far as HF, I do not know what country their stuff comes from, dont really care, I do go in once in a while, and look, but typically I walk back out empty handed.

Last time i went in a hardware/farm store what was up front by the checkout but a wire bin full of 1 and $2 tools. Most likely from china from the same place that HF gets there tools from im sure just with a different label. They had the cresent wrench the scredrivers and the rubbermallet of the things i looked at. TSC and hardware sores a like all carry china made stuff, i personally like it. Yes it breaks sometimes and most often it dosent. It allows me to buy many more tools and tools that i otherwise could not really afford. The Good thing about HF is that they stand behind there junk. and will replace it.

Don't forget the extension cords for the BT leads (hang overhead). You can thank me later. I cannot stand to walk under or step over a cord across a walkway.

I can't stand to have extension cords laying all over the place either.. When I wired up my new 40x50x12 shop I installed "4 square" outlets every 10 feet along the perimeter of all walls. Will probably go ahead and wire it to a QD plug like my service truck has for the coolant heater. That way, if I forget, it wont wreck the wiring or my outlet...

Looked at one of my tenders and it said USA... I've had it awhile so who knows where the new ones are sourced.

I bought a couple of the Schumacher brand of 1.5amp tenders this last week. One I hooked up to my 6 volt John Deere M and will swap it occasionally with my JD 3300 harvester as they both don't get used very often but I do need to start them occasionally and get tired of having to jump them when I need to move them for various reasons. The other maintainer is in my other barn and will get rotated between the ATV and the two lawn mowers. I bought them for $20 at TSC

I don't trust any of the float chargers to float. I've had both expensive ones and cheap ones boil batteries dry (particularly small batteries, like lawn mowers and jet skis). So, for my boats and stuff, I just buy the cheapo HF ones and then have them plugged into a lamp timer set to only power them up about 2 hours per day. This has worked perfectly for me.

I like that idea. Being off grid, I'd prefer they only run during daylight.

I do the same thing with my portable jump-start boxes. Keep them consantly plugged into their chargers, and the chargers plugged into lamp timers. That way, they are always charged when I need them, but I don't have to worry about over charging.
