I never thought about using a 5 gallon bucket for a form. Lot's of them at job sites with dried paint in them. And you don't even need to clean the paint out! Also a perfect use for a cracked one. Just use Red Green's handyman's friend: duct tape. And a few U bolts or bent rebar for a handle....

I have a 7' Howse boxblade that I modified to add hydraulic activated rippers, which added quite a bit of weight to it. But recently I built a set of quick attach hydraulic guage wheels for it too. The guage wheel unit is quite heavy in itself can be carried on the boxblade in the "UP" position for added weight. That unit, when on the boxblade makes for all the added weight I need to sink rippers down even in very hard decomposed granite.
