Well, I claim the prize for best value for pounds lifted for $$ spent versus pounds of implement to facilitate lifting.
$$ = 0.0, I scavenged some used axles/hubs from scrap laying around
implement weight = less than 20 lbs for the axles... maybe a little more if you count the non dedicated chains.
lift weight = 2800 lbs of concrete culvert turned into a corner post. This culvert cannot be otherwise lifted because FEL bucket or forks add so much weight that relief valve pops first. I have numerous of these culvert corner posts and use the implement several times a year as I place them for new fence corners or replace old wood ones.
Best corner I've ever found...never rot, pull out of the ground, rust, tip. Axle shafts fit into holes manufactured in the culvert explicitly for lifting.
