Going to take the BH off my BX23 for the first time...The prior owner had never removed it...The Bota has 200 hours on it...Any tips to help make it go easier? Add lube to any of the removal points prior to/afterwards? Thanks in advance...Hope you all had a nice 4th.

I presume it is a Kubota OEM backhoe? I'd shoot the attachment pins down with WD40 or the like just in case they have some corrosion.

Yes, it's the BT600.

A "little" spray lube on the jaws and the little slider pin thingy that goes between them helps. Do it on the flattest place you have the first couple of times till you get used to it. I have gotten to the point where I can drop it almost anywhere without worrying about ground flatness, and use the backhoe hydraulics to move it around to line up with the tractor. The FEL is another story.

Thanks Bernie...Will save the FEL for another day...Still have a few things to do while the BH is on, but wanted to do some "homework" prior to removing it.
