No, this machine uses a steering wheel. Just gotta teach yourself to not start whipping the wheel back and forth trying to make corrections. It's a learned art.

Check out this pair of Gray Air Jacks that I bought when an auto dealership sold out. The bumper jack has had a lot of use. The axle jack rubber pads are barely marred. I use them when building offroad buggies to hold "things" in place.

I had one like yours on the left. It was designed for the days when vehicles had real bumpers that you could use as lift points.

I used it for supporting heavy implements when working on them In the shop. Air over hydraulic and nice mechanical locks!

I needed to take this fuel tank tool box combo out of my pickup today.



I have two right angle tabs welded to the tank bottom on each side for securing. The four bolts go through the floor of the truck’s box .

There’s no way I could hold the wrench topside while under the truck on my back so I attached a Magswitch to hold the box end wrench against the tank.



I’m quite certain the wrench would have bounced out of position while I used an impact wrench.

Here’s a bench mock-up of my setup for clarification.

Beats the heck out of my method. Wad some electrical tape in there to hold the wrench.

Heavy truck supply. I had a few around and a stack of the ratcheting ones also from our truck and trailer van body days.

The etrack load bar had to be shortened.

I don’t like the ratcheting ones as they push out on the box in order to get them to secure a load.







Plus the etrack provides a series of tie down spots.

And while on the subject of ratcheting load bars, as mentioned I may be a bit of a borderline hoarder.

Every once in a while I actually utilize items from my stash.

This medicine ball rebounder I built utilizes a discarded mini trampoline and a modified ratcheting bar for angle adjustment.







Automotive sway bar bushings are used for the pivot points.
