I'm not going to pursue a warrenty claim.
1. Because it was my own stuipid fault:rolleyes:

The first post i read that described the damage i thought shear pin? but then right after that thought was "owner replaced shear pin after shearing off the first dozen" = owners fault = expensive lesson most owners have to learn on there own.

Hope you get it running quick.

Mike, I now see that you did a complete teardown as I had suspected. Man, you really had the issues. You inspired me to check everything - I think I am in good shape. Did you ever add the rubber squeegee to the fan blades?

I have to ask you, what grade shear bolts did you put into your two drive shaft shear locations? They should have been grade 3 bolts. If that was done you never would have the problem you have now. Some how you or someone else put a higher strength bolts into those locations which then did not shear at the correct Lbs of force to save your gear box and shafts from harm...

Always good advise to ensure that the shear bolt grades are correct. But, I would imagine he has fixed the problem, since the last response date was in 2009.

I almost forgot.... :welcome: to the forum.

This thread is 4 years old, so don't expect an immediate response (if you get one at all).
Don't be embarrassed...we all do this on occasion.
