Boles sub compact tractor

I'm looking for info on a H16 Bolens tractor. My wife is a bit intimidated by the Kioti, but needs something to drag her garden trailer around with. We have been looking at used ATVs but can't find a decent 4WD one for what we want to pay. (I think 4WD is a must in our soft & slippery ground).
Anyway... This little Bolens looks like just the rig for her. The big ag tires & wheel weights *should* make up for it being 2WD. Looks like it's got a hydrostatic transmission, but can't be sure from the pics.
The price is $1,600.00 with a plow & a roto tiller.
Any info would be appreciated!

Have you tried the Bolens sub forum?

I like the HT23 I've used for summer chores and winter snow blowing for over 15 years. Floaty tires (chained all year) Hydrostatic...Go is just a press of the pedal.

But I know nothing of the H16..

Per TractorData.com - Bolens lawn and garden tractors sorted by model, the H16 was hydrostatic (as were the H16XL and H16X1) and it also has a locking differential.
