You seriously have to ask this question?

I buy a lot of stuff from Harbor freight. Mainly disposable items but have had success with things like a driveway alarm. You seriously have to ask this question?

As a thought after years in manufacturing as a manufacturing engineering manager, a little coolant really helps.
Tap Magic can be ordered from Walmart of all places. It will make the drilling process quicker with better drill bit life.

Finished installing the bolt on hooks and bolt on clevis. Also installed piranha tooth.
Anyone install Tow Hooks to your bucket? Wondering if they are a good idea or not. They would stick forward a bit, or could be installed on the back and stick up. I have a couple already, and they are cheaper than the bolt on hooks.
Can稚 post a pic so hopefully you know what I mean.
Are you referring to something like these...

Yes you probably could if you can get both mounting holes on same flat surface.... BUT from me, a "grab" style hook is better choice....
Dale
For me the "grab" hook works best with a chain.
I prefer the slotted angle iron welded to the top of the bucket. The hooks are generally only useful when chains are used in front of the bucket but with angle iron the chains can also be run in back of the bucket.

I finally got around to installing the bolt on hooks I got last fall. Install went real smooth. No fancy drills needed, just step-drilled the 6 holes nice and slow with good US made HSS twist drills. Took about 10 minutes including de-burring. Put the clevis mounts on the bottom too so I can hang shackles.
I've already put them to hard use and couldn't be happier. Thanks Ken
I recently installed two bolt on hooks from Kens bolt on grab hooks
The hook were high quality.
Two things to remember:
1) Drilling 4 holes took nearly 1 1/2 hrs. I'm sure this was due to going through 2 plates of metal on the bucket. My wife and I took turns. I used an electric drill and a Cobalt High-Speed Steel Drill Bit (1/2" x 6"L).
2) Going slow speed on the drill allowed for a better bite on the bit and straighter hole. The last hole I used highest speed and the hole ended up wallowed and not straight.
3) The placement of the hooks made if difficult to get one of the nuts and washers on the bolt. Needed my wifes small hands to reach behind the compartment.
I still need to put two bolt on shackles on the bucket will wait for next week and a new bit.
