I think one guy years ago when RCO made deals for Vietnam stuff is clearly old news, very old news. And many people honest people all over the USA were taken by that route, not just RCO. To be honest those days are behind us, people are on to that, RCO is in Japan with a person on site and if you look at some of the video's they put as many as 6 or even 12 tractors in a container, depending on 20' or 40', so that shipping price is spread over allot of units. RCO sells every rebuilt Yanmar they can get their hands on, each load is gone within days. I have been there and watched them leave the place. That's allot of customers. My bet is the one guy who thinks he got ripped is probability not being completely honest here, and probability shot himself in the foot with RCO by being dishonest about what happened in his case.

Don't know who is talking down RCO and how they got ripped off by RCO and they all the proof, but no one likes a whiner. If someone has a beef with RCO, then pursue it with your evidence and let us know what happened. Otherwise quit whining. You look little, whom ever you are.

I agree 12-15 units in a shipping container is split between all of them, but the $1k i said to get your personal Japan yanmar here is my guess at one unit going to you as a buyer and importer. To get a 40ft container load of them your looking at way more than $1k for the container, but yess it will be split between all the units inside but my guess is close to $6-10K for a container to get to your shop from japan.

Not meaning to get this into a nasty thread. Great tractor and im really not saying anything about you or your tractor nor saying that you were ripped off. I am just expressing concern. That is the reason for this boad to inform not only about repairs and functions but about dealers good and bad. Then you as a reader have to wade through it all and decied from previous posts from that person weather you put any credibility in their posts or not.

I hope i seem like as decent a person to listen to on the other end of a computer over the internet, as can be. I dont talk about being a secret operative or making millions of dollars, say i farm purple dragons, or i raise longhorns in the artic circle.

Well, the little 1610 is a year old now and no issues. Changed oil and filter. Glad my son bought at RCO. RCO is now becoming a New Yanmar dealer. They have worked out the paper work to support all their prior customers too. The supposed grey market guys. Bottom line is the little 1610 will go to the "Yanmar Dealer" for service and issues. I couldn't be more happy with RCO, they really are a straight up bunch. Congratulations on becoming a New Yanmar dealer.
