Soundguy it is good to see you. I was talking to a guy with the 711 model (19-385??) with a hydraulic curling bucket. It came off of a 3 cylinder 3000 diesel and he put it on gas 3 cylinder 3000. He said the hip bracket worked fine but he had to change the angle on the front bracket for the gas version. I read somewhere the 19-385 is 1965 or newer. I have order a factory manual but saw online it is rated to lift 1200 pounds with the tractor hydraulics vs 1000 pounds from the earlier versions since that is the one I want to find for our "new" 1966 3000 diesel. The web 'facts' vary too much for my taste.
He is going to get me a photo of how he powers both the double acting and single action rams with the two factory quick connects. I am sure that will be covered in the factory manual. I do not have access to the tractor (it is still at the shop in another town) but I think I will be good to go with the rear Ford factory remotes with a control under the seat. For our AC 72 combine pulled with our 801 Fords we tapped the plug under the tractor seat and strapped down the lift arms during combining seasons and that worked great for years.
From what I can gather the 722 model are basically the same as the 711 but the 722 has a hydraulic reservoir in the base for the use of a front mounted hydraulic pump. Is that the main difference between the 711 and 722?
