that ospho is good stuff.

On this rusty 711 loader I have used OSPHO only and the TSC 65-99 Ford blue 8-2968 on a few parts, others OSPHO, Rust-Oleum Implement Gray Prime and the 8-2968 TCS blue as well as no OSPHO but with the mentioned primer and top coat. The belly strap was not sanded but hand wire brushed only. The rest for the most part has been gone over with 4.5" flexible sanding heads. On my 110th birthday I will update how this paint job held up if I can remember what I used where.

The heavier the solid rust the better OSPHO seems to had value as a primer is my take today but I think it is great on new metal to etch it to hold paint better.

I'm looking forward to seeing this when you get it all completed.

These are photos from a local antique tractor show for the full tractor but they will blow up some for better details. I am sure it will never be all completed since it is a working tractor.





The loader came in rough condition so I did many hours before painting it with the 65-99 old ford blue from TSC.





I used a $5 brush to paint the loader so it is much thicker than most spray painted implements. To quickly cure the enamel since it was still cool and wet I used the $150 paint curing IR 1500 watt unit like you can get at Summit Racing.

Rusty came with one rubber power steering line so since it and the steel line that has not started leaking on the right but today I replaced both steel lines that were leaking and none of the four are leaking. There is a lot to do Rusty but we are getting there.

Heather drove in her first parade with her 3000 we added the Ford 711 FEL to this spring. I love the 3PH 2" receiver hitch we bought to pull the float. Today was Murray State University homecoming parade.
