I don't know what I have missing or what I am doing wrong but I have never been able to see any pictures in your links. I get to an index on your web site but never can get further when trying to access any of the subjects.

Do you have any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Yeah, I had an adapter plate welded on a Bush Hog SBX720 for my 1845. Here's a pic that shows how the quick attach plate fit perfectly between the 3pt hitch arms and the angle. Your fit may differ /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I like real rippers too,

Thanks! Follow-up question... I've yet to spend enough time with the PT to figure out whether I'd want to angle the QA plate or not. From that angle, I can't tell how much you angled yours -- how does the "tilt" work for you in that position? Do you find that you'd like the ability to tilt it up more?

The only way I can see them on his site is to go to File >> Print Preview on the Internet Explorer menu... but then the other links in the pages don't work... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I was having the same problem, but I noted if I scrolled down far enough the pictures appeared. Maybe you will have same luck.

I haven't yet gotten a box blade... I probably think about it at least once a day, typically when I'm traversing my driveway and planning how to make it smoother. I really need something to haul cut brush to a fire during winter, so wishing for enough extra money to get a 4-in-1 bucket at the same time, thereby maximizing the benefit of the shipping costs.

I can't get the photos to show on Sedgewood's page either. Tried turning the pop-up blocker off but that didn't help.

It's so hot and dry here that I can't do much with my PT. However I have been using the pallet forks (fifthwheel hitch in and out of the pickup, other stuff loaded in, etc.). Sure glad someone here suggested I get them.

bbabineau -- Bob, are you in northern or the other California?

Phils

I live in Alamo CA which is in the Bay area but will be locating a tractor at our retirement property on the Central Coast in the Templeton/Atascadero area where we have three acres of trees and field to develop and maintain (the home is already done). Still trying to decide between the 425 or 1430 or some other CUT.

Let me just say this -- having owned a Kubota and now a PT 425, I'll never go back unless this thing turns into a maintenance nightmare, which I don't expect...

Odd that you are having problems. I use Linux and occasionally have problems when some web author does things the IE way, instead of the HTML standards way, but in this case I don't have any problem, and I tried four different browsers to boot. All work perfectly on his site.

I don't have any pictures on the pages, either, but they do appear in the Print View also. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I just went out and eyeballed the angle - the QA plate is tilted back about 20 degrees from the vertical. I had the same trouble figuring out the right angle but it turns out not to be too critical as long as its about 10 degrees more than the QA is tilted forward when rolled all the way back and the arms a foot or so off the ground. In my case I seem to recall that's about 5 degrees. In use you don't normally tip the box blade back very far from level - sometimes a tad to get the rippers ripping without getting off and resetting them /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I've attached the pic some of you are having trouble with. At this point I have no idea what is happening with my site - it works fine for me here on my Mac with Safari and Firefox. Thanks for the heads up guys - I had no idea there was a problem for some folks. I'll have to see if I can figure out what's happening.
