This is the approach I would take with my wife. "Honey, I'm GETTiNG a new tractor and YOU are going to work overtime to pay for it. End of discussion.

Well Ken you know what we all think, and I am sure you are in a state of some anxiety over what to do about this offer. But we all don't know your situation as well as you do. I will just say again, you have one heck of a dealer there, that is trying to look out for you as best as he can and still survive himself. Good luck Ken.

Ken, there are probably some of us that wish we were in your position to upgrade to a DK50 by trading in a problem tractor and some cash ( I know it's your cash not mine). Think your dealer is being very fair with the deal. Have you looked at what he may do for you if you got a DK45? Perhaps that may narrow down the cash needed. As for your wife well all I can say is mine bought me my tractor almost 4 years ago for my birthday (with a bit of help from me), she has never driven it but she sure appreciates all the work :tractor: :cool2: I get done with it.
She is a pretty happy camper about the tractor.
When Brad from Markham mower delivered my tractor in December, my wife flew out of the house and said "what the heck is that?" Brad said "Dude, you didn't tell her?". Lol. True story.
