Brush Hog Lube

I had a 4' 951 but not anymore.

You can either tilt it over and let it drain ( use boom pole or FEL ) Or you can use a battery water suction buld to suck the oil out... or similar device.

That 951 is a superior machine. i ran 85/140 lube in mine.

Right now I don't have any means to drain the existing lube. Do some people just top it off every so often and call it good? Could I get by with this for awhile until I have a means to drain it?

As long as it does not look contaminated.. I'd just top off and go.

Water contamination will show up as an emulsion.. like a milky look.

Dirt contamination would be obvious.

Run a clean rod it there and draw it out and look at the oil. If it looks like 'good' clean oil.. fill to the correct level and go.
