In the attached picture, you can see the brackets I welded onto my bucket for that very purpose. My brother traded a pocketknife (literally) to one of his customers for the forks and we just did a little welding. Incidentally, when I was on the board of directors for our water co-op, we paid $100 for a set of used forks to do that.

Bird, looks like an ideal set-up. I printed out the picture for future reference. thanks!
If you are looking for some forks try looking on Ebay - I just received two pairs of forks from Ebay user " forklifttrader". They had an auction for 36" forks for $75.00 a pair. They were great to deal with - I wanted smaller forks for my BX23 and they had them and sent them out no problem. They even shipped before my check cleared! . I don't see the forks auction listed any more but I am sure if you send them an email they will still have some - the auction said they had 12 dozen pairs.
Hey, what about Markham Welding? I will be ordering a toothbar from them soon, and from all the good press about them, maybe they would make up some nice ones for a fair price too. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
