For light work, the bolt ons are a good choice. My use is just occasionally, so I can throw them on in a couple minutes, move what I have too, and take them off.
I have used them to move around 60-70 2x4's, a truck cab, 30 4x6 pressure treated posts, plywood, even pallets of cultured stone.

Can they be a pain and shift on you? Yes. I have the ones with the adjustable cross brace and it makes a big difference. Save yourself a few bucks and get the 2000lb ones.... they will work for your tractor.

Also remember that any bucket clamp on forks will pick up much less due to the center of mass being moved further out from the pivot. Best performance will be from the quick attach types.

Agree with above, if you get clamp ons, get the stabilizer bar.
I use one to move wood rounds and slabs, and branches too large to hand carry to piles.
