I forgot about the cutting question. I have a horizontal metal cutting bandsaw that I made all the cuts with. When I cut the I beams I had to cut half way through and then flip them over to finish the cut. The parts that have the lift pins in them are actually the ends of the yellow beam. They had a hole in each end and were reinforced on both sides so it was perfect for the lift pins.

Very slick and very well done. Looks like an OEM one.

Very nice indeed. Now...would you be willing to sell it for less then the O.E.M.'s? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif And paint it Kubota orange? And deliver it to Western Mass.? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Nice work!

Actually I have bought some " Equipment Yellow " paint to paint it with. I didn't get to work on it again until this afternoon. I cut 50 more spikes and welded up 2 1/2 rows of spikes on the roller. I plan on watching the Daytona 500 tomorrow, so weather permiting I should have the last 2 rows of spikes welded, the whole thing sand blasted and painted Monday. If I can get it painted early enough maybe it can dry in time to get it put back together for some TBN pictures to be made.

...and how much will it cost me, including delivery? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Nice work, I definitely want to see it when it's done.

Building a Pulverizer, Painted Version

I was hoping to have everything painted by now but mother nature didn't want to cooperate this weekend. It rained most of Saturday and then the temperature was 33 today. I need to shoot one more coat of paint on it and paint the scarifers but this pictures will give you an idea of the finished product.

Re: Building a Pulverizer, Painted Version

Very nice. I've got a 60" lawn roller I've been thinking about doing something similar with and pulling it with my Four wheeler. You've given me some excellent ideas.

Would love to some pictures of it in action, maybe some before and after pictures... sometime in the future.
