Boy aint that a cutie!! I wonder if he can fill it using that ATV?
If it does in good dirt they may be able to move 40 or more yds a day. Wouldnt that be wild to build rds and level acres and when the neighbors how you pointed to the atv!!

Thats a bit high on that scraper, last year the trip type1.5 yard soil movers were selling in the 2500 to 3000 range. Ive got a small pan I built about that size when I was 14 in welding class but Ive lost the front apron. I made the rear axle out of a murray rear engine axle and had a motor on it with a peerless trans axle to make double barrel. It helped alot but still was a bit much for my Cub Cadet. The Yanmar and the Farmall Cub would bury it.
Id still like to build one like your smaller pan. Im about to build a small front dump scraper for a landscaper here. I m trying to talk him into a paddle wheel to make the dirt finer as fill.

Earthface,
What is the verdict? Do you think your going to take the time to draw the plans out, and produce the plans for sale?
I would go more than the $20 somebody mentioned, just to take a look at them. I have a need for a pan, but one thing at a time is all I need to be building.

Hi Guys
I belive I will make up the prints but like building it this will have to be a winter project. I just have to much to do right now, mostly moving dirt with the afore pictured scrapers. For a question which one will be the most requested the 2 wheel or the 4 wheel one. I am leaning to do the 2 wheel bottom dump first as for small tractor use it is the most convient to use. It backs in well.
Thanks Guys for all the interest and input!

Earthface, I agree that the two-wheel type is the most desireable for the small tractor operators........it's what I prefer anyway. Simpler, effective, cheaper. Still a fantastic dirt-moving tool........

First project for me to build will be a bush hog. I dont want to face the sight of my brother, if he ever tumble and falls with the un shielded circular saw blade he put on the weed eater... Just imagine what a mess it would make...
The heavy duty brush cutter is just recently introduced to the European market, so there are no cheap used units around, so i'll have to make one myself. All i need to find now is a 90° angle gearbox with a ratio of 1:1,5 to get to a cutting speed of 80 meter per second at the blade tips on a 1,80 meter cutter.

Anyways, after that i want to build my own style of pan, fixed blade pivot dump. It may take a year or so, but i dont think anyone of you will be interested as it's going to be the biggest my 5245 could ever pull (so when i rent it out to farmers, they can gear up and get full capacity of the design with their 100+ hp tractors)
